Access to the virtual platform

Since the 2021 ICN Congress is taking place in a fully virtual form, each participant must ensure that they have access to the internet in order to connect. It is each participant’s responsibility to connect to the event from a place that offers stable internet access. As a point of reference, if you are able to access and view YouTube streaming videos, your connection is good enough to connect to the ICN Virtual Congress.

Technical details for accessing the platform:

  • Supported browsers and minimum required versions: Newest version of Google Chrome, Firefox, MS Edge or Safari recommended.
  • Minimum required versions: Edge 12+, Firefox 27+, Chrome 30+, Safari 7+
  • As above for mobile devices: Newest version of Google Chrome, Firefox, MS Edge or Safari recommended. Same applies for mobile

Minimum bandwidth required for proper access to streams:

720p 3 Mbps
1080p 7 Mbps
2K 12 Mbps
4K & up 22 Mbps

While the Organisers will do all that is technically possible to provide smooth access to the virtual platform, please note that the Organisers cannot be held responsible for poor or limited internet access on the participants’ side. Poor or limited internet access on the participant’s side will not be considered a valid reason for a refund.
